This reminds me of a bunch of bands I've seen live at WOMAD. A very danceable, up-tempo mashup of traditional and contemporary influences, in this case from their native Ukraine. No idea what the lyrics mean but I love the sound of the language in these songs!

Vorhin ab ca. 22 Uhr stand die Ukrainische Band „Yagody“ auf der Bühne hier in #Ingelheim und bereits nach den ersten Tönen sind mir die Tränen aus den Augen gelaufen. Ich kann mir nicht erklären weshalb aber es hat mich sehr ergriffen und ich bin ziemlich sicher dass es nichts mit dem Krieg in der #Ukraine zu tun hat.
Der wundervolle, mehrstimmige Gesang hat mich voll erwischt. Vielleicht etwas aus einem anderen Leben.
