Now that the X4 Pro was released (or is available for ordering) I took the opportunity (and the 15% sale) to order the X4 (in white) with a folio case (in forest green).

Bummer that you can’t apply multiple codes or I would have saved on shipping costs as well. But 15% is also pretty good.

Now that the X4 Pro was released (or is available for ordering) I took the opportunity (and the 15% sale) to order the X4 (in white) with a folio case (in forest green).

Bummer that you can’t apply multiple codes or I would have saved on shipping costs as well. But 15% is also pretty good.

I’m debating myself on wether I want to get an Xteink X4 E-Reader or rather when I want to get one. The white one with a forest green magnetic folio looks really nice. I had a Kindle Paperwhite for a while but I sold it since I don’t want to be bound to Amazon.

In the short time I've had it (maybe a couple of hours) I've got Crosspoint on it and connected it to Calibre.

It seems like a decent little eReader considering its Lilliputian dimensions.

Now, what can I use it for?
(My Boox Page is in good health still)

*There's a quid-pro-quo in that I've got to help him with a job later on.

I recently got a #xteink #ereader after seeing it a bunch online, and apart from books I wanted to reed some of my #rss feeds on it. I have crosspoint which can load OPDS feeds, so this afternoon I wrote a little tool to convert rss feeds to OPDS, and the posts to epub, so I can fetch them more easily. https://github.com/sams96/rss-to-opds still very much a WIP but it already works for basic things.

This photo is from my doc's office today, instead of painting (I've already sketched that office a dozen times, lol), I decided to read. This is _The Lost Art of Reading Nature's Signs_ by Tristan Gooley, one of my favorite books. I've never read it on the XTEink before, but it formatted great.
