Приехало ко мне чудо. XP-Pen Artist 16 (2nd Gen)

Сразу не завелось, да и живёт пока не на USB Type-C, а на HDMI с USB-A. Подозрение на то, что моё железо не понимает врзможности раздачи экрана по Type-C. Что-то тут про это сказано.
Также не сразу завелся с OpenTabletDriver. Пришлось искать источник проблемы. Вот это помогло (Хотя VendorID и ProductID были теми, которые были в конфиге, хех).

Подруга подогнала планшет на пару-тройку дней попробовать поиграться с ним.

Старт уже смешной.
Курсор начал двигаться по двум мониторам (т.е на лист а5 помещалось 2 экрана). Пофиксил. Тыкаем дальше.

HUGE relief because yesterday my new drawing tablet arrived. Who knows what happened to the first one, I'm just happy the replacement that XP Pen sent out got here in a relatively timely manner.

Now I can get on with the important business of playing catch up. Some deadlines are going to be missed because of this, hopefully not by too much, because making art takes time.

Today I think I shall mostly be sketching a lot to get the ball rolling.

Je l'ai prise en décembre, elle est comme neuve et assez agréable pour dessiner. Mais je m'aperçois que je préfère bosser sur mon pc donc je ne m'en sers pas trop... À part pour jouer à Stardew Valley de temps en temps.

C'est sympa mais dommage parce que c'est une tablette autonome (pas besoin de pc, elle tourne sous Android), elle a pas mal de ram, pas mal de stockage, son écran texturé fait 12,2 pouces. Voilà le lien vers la présentation complète : https://www.xp-pen.fr/product/standalone-magic-drawing-pad.html

So the new #xppen tablet I bought does not seem to work with my #linux installation, the hardware turns on but no button works and the stylus does not move the cursor, neither the bundled #digimend drivers in the arch kernel nor the ones from their github seem to work so, I guess I have a fancy paperweight in the meantime 🙃

I have managed to save and it is finally time to buy a drawing tablet with a screen. I would like to have a medium/big-sized one with a stand to place it inclined on the desk. I usually use the keyboard to do all the commands, so I don't care if the tablet has many or few buttons. But I want one that has many pressure points and that detects the inclination of the pencil so that the sensation is as realistic as possible. What do you recommend?
