Not exactly an #xodus, but Sweden re-discovering that cash is queen.
Sweden already has a homegrown digital payment system called Swish. It works with a phone app.
But now the Swedish government is requiring grocery stores and pharmacies to accept cash, and have advised people to have at hand 1000 kroner (about 90 Euro) in cash.

Sehr schade aber, dass sie das nicht mit einem klaren Statement für und Umzug auf eine klar als demokratisch zu identifizierende Plattform verbinden! Viele Abgeordnete wollen auf Instagram gehen (oder bleiben)! Warum so halbherzig? Warum nicht mutig voran ins Fediverse? Das gäbe hier guten Auftrieb und der Sache echte Aufrichtigkeit! #Xodus #parteien #eXit
