Fantastic card. Love the "shredding" effect and just "Claws" as a power.
That said, feels like the bio should offer some context as to why he's listed as as an X-Man (esp. since that's not quite true).

Nothing says "1994 X-Men" quite like this capture of the small sliver of time in which Kwannon-in-Betsy's-body was a de facto member of the team using a French (for some reason) codename.

Bill Sienkiewicz with his first card of the set. Sadly, it's not the greatest Psylocke card.

The way his bio is vague about the loss of adamantium makes me assume it was written before "Fatal Attractions" and makes me wonder if the writer even knew the details of the story beyond "radical changes."

Gambit looks like he's nailing a power chord in the middle of an arena show.
This set also credits each artist, something I, someone who likes to credit artists but sucks at recognizing their styles, appreciates.

Frontrunner for "Best Beast Trading Card."
In addition to adopting the thicker cardstock, glossy finishes & foil embellishments of Marvel Masterpieces, all the cards in this set are fully painted.

In lieu of the classic bar graph stats, this set adopts a "Mutant Power Profile" featuring a partial wireframe (SO hot at the time) recreation of the cardfront image w/notes detailing the powers.

This set immediately corrects a wrong from previous sets by starting off with the #1 X-Man. 😀

Card 044: Psylocke
Apparently they needed to make room on the upcoming X-Men page so Psylocke got punted to here on the grounds of her relationship with Captain Britain.
"Genetically altered by ninjas" is this card's version of Havok's "amnesia."

Card 085: X-Men Blue
The placement of the signature box always makes me think Gambit has one of those little fancy waiter towels draped over his arm.
Wolverine smoking on the team card seems mildly surprising, even in '93.
