First impressions: Mostly straight-ahead takes with a sax/drums/guitar/bass line-up, but with tap dancing for added percussion -- which is cool, but not sure how much it actually adds here. Nevertheless, good playing so far, and I like a sax/guitar quartet ensemble.

Heute gab's mal wieder ein außergewöhnliches Konzert im #PierreBoulezSaal #Berlin - mit #HamidDrake (dr) und der New Yorkerin #AvaMendoza (g, voc)

Im 2. Set kamen dann noch #XhosaCole (sax, fl) und der wunderbare #MajidBekkas (Gimbri, voc) dazu und spielten und sangen den Saal mit afrikanischen Rhythmen in Trance...

Die #Gimbri ist eine Basslaute, die ganz herrlich klingt. Sehr warm und weich...
