Kürzlich wurde bekannt, dass die Grün #Berlin GmbH im Auftrag des Berliner #Senat die Ausschreibung zum #Zaunbau um den Görlitzer Park veröffentlicht hat.

Der zuständige Bezirk Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg hatte sich dagegen auf allen Ebenen gewehrt. Seit Jahren gibt es darüber hinaus immer wieder Proteste der Anwohner*innen gegen die Pläne.

Der »ausbleibende« #Wahlbezirk ist real woanders mitgezählt worden. Es sind aber seit Abschluss der #Wählerverzeichnis⁠se am Freitag offenbar überall erhebliche Mengen an #Wahlberechtigte⁠n verstorben, bloß in #XHain haben sie sich stark vermehrt. Das waren eigentlich mal zuverlässige Zahlen.

Today it’s the third day since I moved to #Berlin.

I spent the first two days getting things sorted, cleaning and setting up the house, and getting acquainted with this incredible city.

Now that the basic things are out of the way, I am starting my tour of Berlin’s hackerspaces.

I want to get to know the city by connecting to its #independent, #communal, #anarchist, #cyberpunk spaces. I believe hackerspaces are the best way to do so. There are too many, it is wonderful and overwhelming at the same time. I love it.

My first stop has been #xHain, the hackerspace closest to where I live, in Friedrichshain.

It seems like exploring a dreamland. Not exaggerating: this #hackerspace embodies my greatest ideals and dreams.

I feel I will be spending a lot of time here.
