  1. The Linux/Unix/BSD world really needs a standard UI toolkit that isn't bound to a particular language or ideology. Just something really standard and not so stinking opinionated.

    GTK: increasingly ideological/opinionated/gnomeified

Qt: Pretty cool, but getting dusty in parts. Scrolling is often quite glitchy, as it wasn't made with infinitely scrolling content in mind, which is unfortunately normative now. Also, no QtWebKit anymore. Boo.

Iced: Seems cool, but very tied to Rust

Anyone wanna port #XForms to Wayland??? XD

  2. @Lukew Because the people at #WHATWG are idiots. A quick look at #XForms, which dates back to 2007, is quite enlightening in this regard. How many years of technological delay has the web platform accumulated because of browser vendors?

  4. A new prerelease of Salvora, a "serverless-server" for managing documents and #xforms from local folders. This time is a testing release. both #xslt transformations and #xproc iii triggers already working. Lots of thins still need adjustment and testing. External access is now dissabled by default. Due to Morgana XProc Quasar dependencies now Java >= 11 is needed.
