The real reason Noah joined Moebius is Malos wanted to be the good guy this time around when the first Noahs were being reincarnated then got burned out so he allowed Noah to become N, which also meant Malos became evil again. Then later at the end of Future Redeemed, Malos briefly overcame the burnout and decided that he should help stop Alpha. N rejoining our Noah then allowed Malos to rest and recover from his burnout.

Just remembered that one demonstration of code in Xenoblade 3 that allows Heroes to be controlled. Wonder if it's related to the Switch 2 thing and it was a scrapped mode.

Replaying Xenoblade 3 again and while doing the first few bosses I'm just thinking "Maybe they wouldn't be so luck based on hard if I could just switch party members already".
Also, I think introducing the in-battle character switching mechanic while you are still just 3 would be better in general for first timers.

For the next Xenoblade, I hope they do something about a problem I had with 3 where during hard boss fights, controlling a Healer is by far the best choice.
I've only largely controlled a Defender during 3 boss fights where positioning was important (so maybe do that more in a sequel).
And Attacker... only during easy fights or sections. Maybe do phases with dps checks?

I got my Switch console banned around 2022 due me using custom firmware and really the only way it affected me was that I can't buy and download the Xenoblade 3 Future Redeemed DLC.
Because I wasn't interested in paying for online play, that part couldn't even affect me.

The other day I thought of a comic idea involving Xenoblade 3 so tonight I wrote it down in LibreOffice Writer so I don't have to keep remembering until I (try to) make it. Having it tumble around in my head for a few days allowed it to improve over what it was originally. It involves two characters with similar trauma.

Why Ashera is my favorite hero in Xenoblade 3:

2. Amazing character.
3. Amazing party member.
4. Amazing class.

It would've been cool if during the final boss in Xenoblade 3 the fight didn't immediately start and you could look at the awesome background in peace.

Ever think about how N fully embraced the ideology of Ouroboros again by the time you defeat the final boss and Noah starts to slip back into Moebius ideology by telling N and M that they can live in the restored world if they choose to not sacrifice themselves? The only thing that saved the world from going back into an Endless Now is N saying no. Our Noah was still vulnerable to the pull of Moebius, albeit less so thanks to having friends.

I often forget that technically Xenoblade 3 was one of my bigger surprises in gaming.
After 2, I was worried that they would continue locking the hard mode behind the expansion pass while having a much easier normal mode compared to earlier titles. Which is why I set my expectations low.
Of course, after I got my copy and saw and experienced the hard mode (= getting destroyed a million times), all my doubts disappeared in an instant.

Doing side missions in X DE or 3 that are about making life in the world better after you've finished the game is so weird because you know the world will disappear shortly after.

I would play Xenoblade 3, Astral Chain and Fire Emblem Engage a lot more if they ran better on emulators.

I gave the "Interlink control type" option in Xenoblade 3, which determines if your party can interlink on their own, a better description for hard mode.

Sometimes I wonder why N's Core is a red cross (except an X) like Alpha's second phase of the final boss instead of the same as every other Moebius (obviously it wouldn't be like Mio). Maybe it's because he was influenced by Alpha since he was part of the City and Alpha wanted to influence N to not kill him but N's despair overpowered it?

I wonder if they ever fixed that oversight at the end of chapter 5 in Xenoblade 3 where skipping that small cutscene of interacting with an object also skips the next major story cutscene.

I really have to compliment Xenogears' whole final boss sequence. It's really fun.
Like, I think it's better than Xenoblade 2's and 3's final boss fights.
And fuel management during it is also good so that one moment alone beats Xenoblade X's whole fuel management (which pretty much doesn't really exist)

A perfect Xenoblade X2 would be a combination of X's weapon and gear system and 3's party system.
