  1. Lucky shot, filght of the bumblebee, sharp, with manual focus 17cm distance, #Fujifilm #xe1 with a #voigtlander #colorskopar18mm28 lens, aperture set to F2.8. Everything set to manual, crop frame, nothing else adjusted. I was testing out a Kodak Portra800 simulation on this old sensor in front of the house today and noticed the bumblebees in the hedge. Of the 8 or so shots, this was one of the two in focus. Lens does not communicate with the camera so the Exif data in the file is incorrect.

  2. Vanochtend Rokin, Amsterdam. Licht staat laag en weerkaatst vanaf overkant van de straat. Uitsnede van orgineel. #Fujifilm #XE1 #Voigtlander #colorskopar18mm28 #street_photography #amsterdam

  3. Before and After Cleaning a Minolta XE-1 ISO/Aperture Contact Dial.

If your meter is ever jumpy or unresponsive to aperture changes, get in there and clean this with some >70% alcohol, a cotton bud, and a rubber pencil eraser. Good as new and now it functions!

  4. Title: Projected changes in the Iberian Peninsula drought characteristics.

High spatial resolution drought projections for the Iberian Peninsula (IP)
have been examined in terms of duration, frequency, and severity of drought
events. For this end, a set of regional climate simulations wa [...]

  5. Title: Revisting the limits of atmospheric temperature retrieval from cosmic-ray measurements.

A priori, cosmic-ray measurements offer a unique capability to determine the
vertical profile of atmospheric temperatures directly from ground. However,
despite the increased understanding of the impact of the atmosphere on
cosmic-ray rates, attempts to explore th [...]

  6. Title: AIRCC-Clim: a user-friendly tool for generating regional probabilistic climate change scenarios and risk measures.

Complex physical models are the most advanced tools available for producing
realistic simulations of the climate system. However, such levels of realism
imply high computational cost and restrictions on their use f [...]

  7. Title: Characteristic signatures of Northern Hemisphere blocking events in a Lagrangian flow network representation of the atmospheric circulation.

In the past decades, boreal summers have been characterized by an increasing
number of extreme weather events in the Northern Hemisphere extratropics,
including persistent heat waves, droughts and [...]
