Just saw this and I'm genuinely excited. A #XFiles reboot is actually happening, directed by #RyanCoogler who just won an #Oscar for Blood & Sinners this year. Both #Duchovny and #GillianAnderson have already spoken with him personally, and Anderson apparently expressed interest in returning. Nothing confirmed yet though.
#RobbieAmell, who played Agent Miller in the later seasons, says he is "zero nervous" about Coogler handling it, which is a good sign.
#DanielleDeadwyler and #HimeshPatel will lead the new cast. A pilot is being made first, then #Hulu decides whether to continue. No release date yet.

We're watching The X-Files from the beginning. They're both so very pretty, with great hair and *massive* shoulder pads.
When it was first aired in the UK I was 11 and very into the paranormal. That interest, catalysed by The X-Files and some other TV, movies, & books, pushed me towards a love of science and, later, mathematics, so The X-Files definitely helped to bring present-day Tom into existence!

Found this four disc X-Files PlayStation game at Boom Boom Games in Billerica, MA. Claims to have original footage of the X-Files main cast, which is probably why it requires four whole discs.

This ⬆️ by the way is a quote from Millennium 2x09 "Jose Chung's Doomsday Defense" from 1997, an episode that's super weird, but also super entertaining. It's a parody on Scientology, doomsday theories, and Millennium itself, and even features an X-Files cameo.
It's probably not everyone's cup of tea, but gets a 9/10 from me.
