It’s up to 7mm now according to the rain gauge. Going to Kent today to pick up CSA veggies for our neighborhood group after pool workout. Not sure about flower picking in a just muddied field— hope there are still sunflowers. With a cat that likes to eat plants, we have to stick to cat safe flowers and the farmer grows many that aren’t. A damp #Caturday #SalishSea #WXWA

I went down to the shoreline yesterday with my two dogs. Breezy, beautiful, sunshiny day! Today is, too. Photos include my weather apparatuses. Every morning at 8:00 AM, I check my rain gauge and submit the measurement to www.cocorahs.org. My rooftop weather station is an Ambient Weather WS-4000 Solar Powered UltraSonic Wi-Fi Weather Station. Bleah. Snow is coming. And we never handle it well. Really hope the variability of the forecast means we get less than prediction. Messy.
We have a light layer of the last of the leaves sitting in the driveway that I need to peel out of the way before it freezes. Will make it easier to shovel. Work cut out for me.
