@j_j The EPP controls a majority of governments which control the EU via both its executive (the European Council) and its legislative, the #WTFIsTheCouncil and the lower chamber, the European Parliament in which they've been the no. 1 party for the last 5 consecutive election cycles. That's a quarter of a century in which a majority of EUropeans have given them control over the EU. #YouVotedForIt or as we say in Iberia: a disfrutar lo votado.

@rodrigo_silva @EUCommission The "guys" in question are our national governments in the two Councils, the EU doesn't have its own money and doesn't control their public broadcasters. 💶⚖️ But yes, we already have a successful model to build on, #ARTE is availabe in 6 languages. The article that goes with the #CounciloftheEU tracker is full of interesting details. It seems that life (and his cholesterol levels) will end up ridding us of Orbán's blackmail veto faster than #EUreform but at least they've widened the scope to include other shitehouse manoeuvres like Bulgaria bullying North Macedonia during the accession process.
