  1. The #WS2815 look like a nice upgrade to #WS2812. The main feature is they take 12V. But still one pixel addressable (many 12V strips do three LEDs together to “use up” the 12V).

    This means lower current, and also a lot more tolerance of voltage drop.

    They also do a backup data for single dead pixel tolerance.

    What I’d like to see is RGBW.

    But what is lowest voltage? Data sheets (naff) seems to say 9V-13V in “absolute max rating”.

    I tested a 5m strip on 5V and it worked perfectly!
