  1. I posted this over on the FediWriMo community about a week ago... I am wondering if there would be people interested in doing a #journal #writing "competition" in January?

The idea is: 31 days, write 2–3 pages per day. The idea isn't like the FediNoWriMo, where the goal is to only reach the word count for a novel.  Instead, this is about developing the daily writing habit.

One of the cooler aspects of this, that I forgot to mention, would be that it doesn't make a difference what you use: it could be a paper journal, an #eInk device, a computer, a cell phone, whatever you have.

  6. So, I set myself a goal to write a page-a-day using my #fountainpen in my #journal by the end of the year: 61 pages in 61 days. It was a modest goal, just to see if I could get used to writing with a fountain pen on a daily basis.... I think I've overachieved a bit.
