I'm struggling to bring this 1st draft in across the line.
The really frustrating part is that I enjoy 2nd+ drafts more than 1sts and I can already see how much better it WILL be once I apply these changes I write in the margins every day. I just gotta GET THERE.Oh well. Only way out is through.

One of the magical things about making stories is that one day you can be spending an inordinate amount of time trying to figure out a key plot point involving interstellar travel, aliens, and saving several shipfuls of people, and then another day expending the same brainpower trying to figure out if two characters are fishing while they’re talking?? Eating something?? Wearing clothes?? What is happening here??
