(I admit that it could use a little Polywatch polishing. But the wristwatch still works and the scratches add character.)

Nichts spektakuläres, aber einfach eine schöne Uhr für nicht ganz so viel Geld.
Ich kaufe meine Uhren gebraucht. Die Preise sind zwar recht stabil, aber ab und zu ist doch mal was nettes für einen schlanken Taler dabei. Normalerweise bewege ich mich da um die 20 Euro.

I needed a little break from a ternary encoded display, so I went back to one of my old favourites. French Decimal Time 🇫🇷.

As a side note, since it is no longer DST in Europe and I'm the same timezone as the Swatch headquarters 🇨🇭, it's also actually the current valid time in .Beats (a.k.a. Swatch® Internet Time)! 🥳

As fun as the previous face was, I decided I wanted a bit more information displayed.

So I switched to this alternate ternary dial (also made by my friend).

The colours are all customisable. I have the minutes in a different colour to the hour so that I can locate them quickly at a glance, as I tend to decode them first (given I usually know the hour already).

This face can also show a step count but that is way too much effort to decode right now! 🤣

Pues vamos con un #miercolesderelojesdepulsera de referencias cruzadas con @soydelbierzo. Si él saca uno que me copió a mí yo saco uno que le compré a él 😅 Es un Citizen GN-4W-S aunque no sé el nombre que tiene esta variante en concreto. Me encanta la forma que tiene de dar la fecha y el mes y que tiene mi segunda forma de alimentar un reloj favorita después del automático que es la solar. Lo de la fase de la luna es una complicación que queda muy bonita pero que no tiene demasiada utilidad y que te obliga a mirar en qué fase estás cuando te toca ponerlo en hora. En general mola mucho porque es tan elegante como deportivo y lo puedes llevar prácticamente en cualquier ocasión.

Llevaba un tiempo encaprichado con un reloj de bronce pero los precios están por encima de lo que estoy dispuesto a pagar. El bronce y el latón son materiales que me encantan porque están pensados para ir ganando belleza a lo largo de los años gracias a la pátina que van desarrollando. Una de mis plumas favoritas es precisamente una Kaweco de latón que en unos pocos años ya parece que lleva toda una vida conmigo.
Hace poco descubrí una marca de relojes china (orgullosamente china, de hecho, cosa que me gustó) que tenía relojes de bronce a precios muy razonables y decidí darme el capricho. El reloj me parece precioso y estoy deseando que vaya envejeciendo para que lo sea todavía más. Además de ser bonito por fuera por dentro lleva un movimiento automático Seiko NH35 así que podemos suponer que será bastante fiable. A ver si llega pronto el #miercolesderelojesdepulsera para poder presumir un poco más 😅

Not exactly a #wristcheck since I suck at them...but this is the #watch on my #wrist today. The #citizen AW1361-10H was one of the first #watches I purchased when I was trying to find my preferences. I bought this to see if the #EcoDrive #solar tech was good. It became one of my favorites (alongside the #casioroyale), and set my preference for #quartz movements with solar charging. One issue: the seconds hand is difficult to see. #watchesofmastodon #watchesofpixelfed

I've not really been a fan of dive #watches. So, I decided to give the #Casio Duro a try. Basically confirmed my thought: the bezel on most divers are disproportionate to me.
