Really enjoyed #ProjectHailMary on the fab #RoxyCinema big screen.
Visuals, sound, dialogue and ideas just kept coming plus some movie nerdery. Didnt even mind some bits of cheese. And the mix of heavy stuff with the humour was nicely done. And RG is always watchable.
Highlights among many were the chorus of scientists says… “we dont know” 🤣 and Sandra Hüller‘s karaoke with abrupt end was 🤩 #wouldrecommend

Had two tile layers (obviously Polish) in this morning, repairing the shower.
It was perfectly clear what they thought of the state of affairs, given that ~30% of words they exchanged with each other basically came down to "kurwa" and various iterations thereof.

Finally finished reading #DoughnutEconomics by Kate Raworth. Really enjoyed it, learnt a lot about economic theory (that I perhaps should have known), like the concept of finding the balance and living within our boundaries. The challenge as always is application. Also super keen to think more about metrics and dashboards (going beyond my simple home grafana!)

CW: cult pens stationery advent calendar #3
@scarfwitch I've had the diamine inkvent calendar a few years ago. It's usually full of great inks. I can say I loved it. But I also still have ink left from that calendar from a few years ago. There are so many inks and my usage isn't enough to use them up any time soon. Maybe next year or the year after that I'll take it again 😊

@sebsauvage I think most techies ditch the app because it's yet another chat app and it works using email protocol. But after a few years of use with mainly one friend (and a few other one time chats with others), it's a great app, has nothing to envy from other apps, and it keeps on giving with all the new features that the @delta team keeps adding. #WouldRecommend
