When I lived in Portland, I was a season ticket holder for the Timbers for ten solid years and attended a lot of Thorns games. I left, like a lot of people, when Merritt Paulson first enabled the abuse of Thorns players, then repeatedly lied to fans about the investigation.
I always said I would pay no more money to these teams while Paulson owned them. Now I can finally go buy a Thorns kit and proudly wear it.
