#PublicCoastBrewing out of Cannon Beach, Oregon, announced this week that it is bringing on a new Operations Manager to oversee brewing operations—Chad Kennedy, a distinguished figure in Oregon’s brewing scene. Kennedy was head brewer at Portland’s #LaurelwoodBrewing before leaving to help open #WorthyBrewing in Bend in 2012.

Bend's #WorthyBrewing has Fresh Hopped Worthy Pilsner on tap now, its first #FreshHop #beer of the year. Brewed with Lorien #hops from #GoschieFarms, it's fragrant with red berries and fresh herbs, and the flavor has a big fresh herb character as well, with fresh oregano notes to my taste. Cheers! 🍻

My latest article for the local paper is a profile of Cucumber #Gin Fizz, a new experimental ale from #WorthyBrewing. It’s one of a number of new beers from Worthy, which just completed an expansion of it draft system from 12 to 24 taps.
