I don’t know if my brain is becoming smooth.
Ideally it should be more wrinkly, the wrinklier the better, I am told.
AI usage, mental convenience and delegation and short-form content on the regular are making my attention span shorter.
I feel any information I do consume stays in my short-term memory box, and I am left on a weird intellectual loop. Saying, thinking, planning the same old things month in, month out, year in, year out, with no significant change occurring.
This is where I say it will all stop but I guess I am just fooling myself. At the very least, I am aware. Being aware is one step closer to making a change, is it not?
I am based in the Middle East currently. Since the 11th of May, 2025, actually. The situation here is stable but volatile. People are going about their daily lives while missiles are being intercepted every day – sometimes you hear them and the house shakes, and alerts go off on your phone that you can’t turn off saying to head to a safe space… except there are no safe spaces. No basements or bomb shelters, so you have to think where is the safest place in my house where I won’t get crushed? I am more worried for my kids than myself. If this war escalates to something nuclear I think we are all screwed, no matter where we are in the world. And I think it’s safe so say we all know this is a war fuelled by ego, Epstein file cover up, the US being in Israel’s pocket, Israel furthering it’s Greater Israel agenda and keeping Netanyahu out of jail… the US is ruled currently by an illiterate madman. But hey, are we surprised? No. We just hope to be safe, I think we can all agree on that. I am just really sad and shocked and worried for my kids’ future. The world we seem to be bequeathing to them is chaotic, frightful and full of smoke and mirrors. What is real, in this age of AI and corporate lies?
I shall try my very best here, in this torrid place. Summer is creeping back in, for there is no winter here, no spring and no colourful autumn. Just summer, hot hot burning summer, and gentle summer, or what people here call winter. I used to dream about this place, for it is where I grew up, but I am back now, and I long to escape once more. Just as I did as a child. Rose tinted glasses, folks.
We are at the mercy of electricity here. If it goes out, the cool air goes, and we are left to bake in an aching dryness that feels like death. It is death, it’s death. How can I raise my children in death?
Like I was raised in death?
Taught to fear everything, never to feel secure?
But I see people here and they are so secure. They are secure from the bombs falling, not even gasping or running when the shopping mall booms and shakes from interceptions above. Swishing around in their expensive clothes, heels clicking on polished floors, they feel secure. Their children are secure, no anxiety, nannies running after them, adhering to their every whim. Why then, am I insecure? Why are my children worried, afraid to fall asleep because a plane sounds too loud, afraid to go on a school trip because they may be left behind? Are they swallowing my insecurities? If so, that is very very bad.
I long to be back in a nature that envelops me and does not seek to devour my moist flesh. I long for my children to run in fields again, to climb trees, to fish for frogs in puddles and to collect the sweet scented roses that are abundant in my garden. I long for my little girl to pick up worms again, kiss them fondly and name them, to cherish the ladybirds that infiltrate our house through the seasons, hibernating in the corners of the ceiling for months on end. I miss the old oaks, the spring explosion of magnolia and cherry blossom.
But I don’t know what this future holds. And perhaps seeking financial stability that comes at the cost of health and happiness and a cool breeze is just… not… worth it.

Even if hostilities were to cease today, refineries & storage facilities have been struck, & tankers travel slowly, so there still would be a lag period before more ships sail out plus additional supply reductions. I fear #WorldWar3 will get much worse before it gets better,and this is because the “axis” in this war are not nations, but corporations in the military industry like Palantir and the robot-equipped police forces that have been enacted by the politicians who are paid by Palantir to pass laws on behalf of Palantir. The “allies” are not nations but all other ordinary people who will be on the receiving end of this technology, which is now everyone because Palatir is gathering information and profiling everyone as a potential enemy of their “axis.”
Oh sure, as of right now only long-time enemies of the United States and Israel, countries like Palestine, Iran, Cuba, and China, are the only people on the receiving end of actual violence by these corporations to varying degrees. As of right now. But anyone with the least bit of knowledge of history knows, it won’t end there, and these technologies will be used more extensively, and protests against it will be criminalized as “terrorism” (as we saw with the case of Palestine Action in the UK).
So what political power will exist to enact laws that would check or balance the political power that the military industry will have over everyone else? How can we pass laws that keep their power in check?
During the Cold War, the unresolved disputes of World War 2 played out in slow motion over the course of 50 years. A fear of a nuclear holocaust was what kept most people, even people in power, from acting too irrationally, most of the time. Although on a few occasions we did come dangerously close to an all-out exchange of nuclear weapons fire.
But with AI technology, especially spying technology, there is no fear that this will lead to mass murder and death world wide, like what we have seen in Palestine. There is only enthusiasm among the politicians and corporate leaders. So they will keep building it up, making it more powerful, with no thought of the future consequences.

Note the language. He sees it. "They deserve it." This one speaks of the just-world pathology, where those who aren't of the group-self, of the hiverarchy, of Us, deserve to suffer for the "horrible sin" of being born different. This is how typies see the world, but not this one. Fascinating. Hopeful.

[P] A data-point I found eye-opening was that American first peoples had a higher degree of autism diagnoses, with the CDC assumption even being that they're still underdiagnosed (especually children). This was fascinating to me, because insofar as social groups go, historically first peoples have been less violent. It's a bias, but I'd bet that acetylcholine sapience factored into a non-trivial reduction of violence.

[P] The neurodivergent social structures I've seen are more like cooperatives founded on a mutual appreciation of this morality. It's why I can look at groupings throughout history and measure with ease whether these are comprised of acetylcholine sapience or dopamine sapience. The easiest way to see this is in how outsiders are treated, since acetylcholine sapience doesn't require a Them in order to be defined.

[P] Conflict is inevitable because in order to coagulate a group-self and a hiverarchy (a pyramid-structured coalition of group-selves)? A Them is required, a not-Us, an anti-Us. This is very dualistic. Us has to be good, therefore Them must bebequally evil. This is the function of tribalism. In autism, it's different. I exist. You exist. Are you a moral entity who doesn't exploit with suffering for greed? Then we're cool.

[P] For an autist, though, being individual means being individual. It means being isplated and having no tribe, as most autistics will quickly find that every neurotypical group-self/tribe is too immoral for them. It's very important to focus on self-development and to build up this moral code. It's 2hat I refer to as acetylcholine sapience vs. dopamine sapience. The latter is rewarded by dissolving the self socially.

[P] When "indivieualism" is spoken of vis-a-vis neurotypicals, it'e talking about the performative "uniqueness" of the group-self, likely due to Dark Triad influencers. For example, a cult is very "individualist." The perspective of being collectivist is, then, that the group-self should stop being a special snowflake—that they ought to see themselves as identical to other group-selves for the greater good, which is noble.

[P] The focus on group-selves and hiverarchy over personal self-awareness and moral values is caused by interactions between dopamine and oxytocin (notably in the right amygdala). If a brain has a jacked up dopaminergic system, it prefers others, like acetylcholine. This draws one away from group-self drive t9ward a desire for self-development. It creates a new concept for individualism that's more true to form.

[P] I was just reading on r/Military about the current geopolitical climate. I was surprised by how many actual officers were talking about how it's all the human need for tribalism, that being evil is an OP strat in society as tribal groups obey their evil leaders. Yet for some reason this doesn't apply to anyone woth even an iota of autism, it often doesn't apply to ADHD either. I still have th3 same hypothesis.
