O Custo da Barbárie: O Futuro Mutilado pelas Ambições Geopolíticas

As consequências das guerras sempre deixam sequelas que jamais serão apagadas. Sabe-se que há uma grande devastação territorial que, por sua vez, é irrecuperável; não apenas pelo impacto ambiental causado pelos conflitos, mas pelo modo como todo um povo é atingido. Esse peso sobrecai na população, que se sente desabrigada e desolada, restando apenas o desamparo e a sensação de abandono ao ver os tratados que deveriam garantir a segurança internacional serem quebrados. É, acima de tudo, a dor de quem perde membros da família ou a dor de ter o próprio corpo mutilado por bombardeios.

Faz um ano que Mahmoud Ajjour teve os braços amputados devido a um bombardeio de Israel contra a Cidade de Gaza. A fotografia dele, tirada pela fotógrafa palestina Samar Abu Elouf, ganhou o prêmio World Press Photo 2025. Foi uma das imagens mais chocantes diante dos ataques que ocasionaram a morte de crianças e bebês, deixando toda uma população refém de autoridades tiranas e suas ambições geopolíticas. Hoje, Mahmoud vive em Doha, no Catar, onde aprende a realizar tarefas cotidianas com os pés — um símbolo vivo de uma infância interrompida pela violência.

A guerra nunca foi a verdadeira solução para os problemas humanos, por mais que muitos tentem apontá-la como a “libertação” de um povo preso a determinado sistema. Olhando para a atualidade, em abril de 2026, vemos o conflito escalar no Irã com ataques diretos de Israel e dos Estados Unidos. Muitos enxergam apenas uma disputa pelo petróleo ou controle estratégico, mas é necessário discorrer também sobre as ideologias de domínio que alimentam esses confrontos.

Não podemos esquecer que, neste novo conflito, até escolas foram bombardeadas, como o trágico ataque em Minab, no sul do Irã, que vitimou centenas de estudantes. É impossível ignorar o ultimato de Donald Trump, em 7 de abril de 2026, afirmando que “uma civilização inteira morrerá” caso suas exigências não fossem atendidas. O assassinato de crianças demonstra um ódio profundo e um desejo de extermínio que ignora fronteiras. O que aconteceu na Faixa de Gaza antecipou o horror que se repete agora: a tentativa de destruição do futuro em nome de um presente estratégico de domínio.
