#worldDogStar brought home some ribbons over the weekend! here's one of her runs where she was looking for six(!) rats, and i did not know how many would be on course (2-6 in this game).

very impressed by #worldDogStar’s rat hunting skills this weekend. she went 12/12 in her classes and even did some unknown number searches perfectly. three new titles, too! we had a blast! 🐀
(no rats were harmed.)

had some quality dog time this weekend. #worldDogStar ran a 5k with @corey and me, and all three dogs had an hour long hike at umstead.

#worldDogStar earned her CL-1 last weekend in CPE agility! this is her winning run, in which she ignores me about 50% of the time. 😂

we've also started #agilityLeague, which is where we do a new course every two weeks. she *barely* made it through the last one, and our second one is tomorrow.

after three(!) years(!) of hard work to reduce #worldDogStar's dog reactivity, she earned her #canineGoodCitizen title last night (along with her novice #trickDog title).

#rallyObedience class last night was... entertaining. #echoOfBrookside was trying so hard to concentrate while #worldDogStar was being a whiny baby in her crate.

#worldDogStar and her first muzzle training session! she has worn head halters in the past, so the sensation on her face wasn’t completely foreign to her. she was willingly sticking her face into the muzzle in under five minutes, and strapping it was a breeze!
it’s a wee bit long for her, but not bad considering this one isn’t custom.

both of them had a lot more success during yesterday's evening session. #worldDogStar overcame her fear of the ball and grabbed some treats underneath, and #echoOfBrookside was actively pushing the ball out of a small raised ring!

#worldDogStar is Very Afraid of the 12" inflatable ball i got to start her on #treibball, so i guess we're gonna be doing a lot of counter-conditioning with that!
#echoOfBrookside enjoyed pushing it out of the way for the treats underneath, so that's progress.

ordered a #scentWork kit for the dogs, since it's another low-impact sport i can get #echoOfBrookside and #lokiOfPineview involved in.
echo's got a bum wrist (which i knew might be an issue when i adopted her), and loki is 11 years old, so i'm trying to cut back on jumping/running sports.
#worldDogStar is now my primary #agility dog, which is not at all what i expected, haha. she's also got another #fastCAT trial coming up on the 20th-22nd in concord. 👏

am sleepy. ran 100 yards *twice* today for #fastCAT trial. best time was 9.477 seconds (21.5mph)! i came right to my human after i crossed the finish line, and i was very polite to all the other dogs. 😇
