Whenever I have Mass at one of the local nursing homes, I like to tell the staff, "I'm going to go wake the residents up." Today, though, was a special privilege as it is the memorial of Our Lady of Lourdes, and thus the World Day of the Sick. So, in addition to Mass, I gave them all the Anointing of the Sick. There were a few looks of real joy and peace on some of their faces. God is so good!
