  11. The Hessisches Landesmuseum #Kassel (GER) owns a couple of #chess sets from the legacy of the landgraves of Hessen-Kassel. The one shown here is made in silver by Nikolaus Ostertag around 1700. Pieces symbolize Romans vs. Africans.
