Happy #WorldBeeDay2023 Don't forget that there is a great diversity of wild bee species, like this Andrena cineraria, a common wild bee nesting in the ground and feeding on many plants. These are more important pollinators than the (domesticated) honey bee (in the background).

My sunflowers are still far from blooming this year anyway, but here's a red tailed #bumblebee stuck inside a white cornflower instead...

It's World Bee Day! Did you know that a bee landing on your hand means money is on the way? If one lands on your head, it means success will be yours!
It's also essential to speak to bees in a calm voice. And you should never swear at bees. They might take offence and leave their hive.
