The legendary #Workboy found a new home!
I ported the ROM to work on the #MegaDuck laptop (a #GameBoy clone). It's not the hardware that we wanted, but...it's hardware that exists! Keyboard, Real Time Clock and all.

Found a hidden treasure in the #GameBoy #Workboy ROM (while scrounging for Bank 0 free space)
The menu shown when the ROM is run without the Workboy keyboard connected has a hidden "Backup Options" entry. To reveal search for "ITCMRT" in phone app (cart sram must be init-ed).
Appears to Dump/Restore cart SRAM to keyboard over link port.
No idea what the Significance of "ITCMRT" is...

Been reverse engineering (keyboard, rtc, etc) the #MegaDuck #SuperQuiQue laptop.
It's like #GameBoy #Workboy except it actually shipped. It has same GB compatible cpu (sm83) and with slightly altered registers as the Megaduck Handheld.
Anyhow, turns out the System ROM has a Y2K12 bug. The, max year supported is 2011.😄
