Cliff’s Notes 2026: Episode Five

Well hello there! It’s been quite a while since I did one of these posts, or any posts on the website for that matter. Why you ask? Life has just been crazy and pretty busy in various ways. Plus I’ll also admit I’ve just not really had motivation to want to post things. You know, writers block and such!

Cliff’s Notes 2026: Episode Three

Once again, kind of changing up how I post these Cliff’s Notes posts. I’ve tried to do them every week, but personally I think that’s a bit too often. So I’ve decided I’m just going to do them every two to three weeks and I’m simply going to name them chronological order for the year.

What's on your agenda for the day and for tonight? Will you be celebrating New Year's in any way?

For me, it's another day of work, though we do have tomorrow off which is nice.

The wife and I will stay up and watch the ball drop in NYC on TV and not much else is planned.

For me, it's work stuff and more training. Might actually be the day I take my first phone call as well, but we shall see.

Fortnite with friends tonight to play some OG Fortnite since it's returned today.

For me, it's another day of training at the new job, and I have back to back meetings at 2pm and 3pm. Not much else is planned.

For me, it's back to work after having the last two days off. Not sure what the day will be like as far as actual work itself, but we shall see.

Nothing else beyond work planned for the day today so it'll just be time to rest and relax when the day is done.

Decided to setup the work computer stuff separately from the personal computer stuff.

While I have a dock for the laptop and the monitors, and I was using those with my monitors, this gives me more room and makes it easier to focus on work stuff.

Plus I have a nice view of the outside, though today is a bad example since it's a rainy day today.

For me, it's training at the current job as they wanted to promote me from Tier 1 to Tier 2 already within just 5 weeks of working there.

Tomorrow is my only day off this week so I'll be watching the Texans vs Packers game with my cousins boyfriend as he's coming over since the Packers are his team.

For me, it's just another work day. I actually got asked to come in early as we have several employees who live in Florida and are without power so they can't work.

For me, it's work stuff until 4pm with an interview during my lunch break at 12:30pm today. Hoping it goes well and I make it to the next steps.

It's the last day of the work week for me as I'm off Friday and Saturday, work Sunday, then off again on Monday.

I'm getting an early start today as I have an early shift at the new job today. Still in training but a bit more freedom than what we've had prior to today, so that's a good thing.
