The year has been one of transition, and I shouldn't be surprised to realize what I thought I wanted at the beginning is not what I want now. Seasons change, and so do we.

At the halfway mark of the year, I'm looking at what I want to do in writing and life, what I have done, and shifting plans. Not because they've been thrown into a cocked hat, but because I'm re-learning how to live my life.
