Found this piece of bay tree root in the creek. I cleaned the exterior with a wire wheel then removed the tool marks with different grit nylon wheels. I hollowed out the bowl with a special attachment for my angle grinder. I made three feet for it from rebar salvaged from the creek. I sharpen the ends to a point and then bent them into hooks with a jig I made. I applied several coats of finish with a small artist brush into every nook and cranny. #woodbowl #woodworking #woodwork #woodworker

Made this bowl at the same time as the platter from the other half of the log.
