I love your color speculations, it would be cool if they turned out to be so colorful. Present-day crustaceans like mantis shrimp are pretty wildly colored. Also, that fabric would make a great wallpaper in my midcentury pink-tiled bathroom!

Ich bin aktuell von den Personen in meiner Umgebung schockiert.

Ein Arbeitskollege wurde vor kurzem wegen "Kulturelle Aneignung" angemacht. Er hat Dreadlocks. Das sei den Rastafari vorbehalten und man soll sich schämen.

Aber Feiertage auf den "Nacken" anderer Altkulturen feiern, das ist genau mein Humor.

You never know where the rabbit hole will take you, I only select the next song from the list suggested.

That this one popped up, gave me goosebumps. One of my brothers all time faves.

I lost my brother in 2007, Colin Vearncombe died during that awful 2016.

The song is beautiful & haunting, the video is simple yet stunning. But it's not a happy song, it's like surfacing after years of depression & melancholy.

I have very few complaints about “It’s a Wonderful Life” (which otherwise holds up beautifully).

One weird choice that has aged poorly: how does George’s nightmare vision climax? Not with Mr. Gower’s sorry state… Not with Harry’s tombstone… No, the “worst” outcome, the only news that Clarence hesitates to share, is that Mary ends up as a single, working woman who wears glasses.

Oh, the… horror?

When I think about the music the much younger me liked (birthdays get me musing that way) I inevitably end up thinking about "Wonderful life" by Black.

Still love that eighties sound and the lyrics just never fail to move me, even after all theses years.
