I should probably draw inspiration from some symphonic metal or punk rock given the tone of the story I’m creating, but really I’m just over here grooving to a #PAUZA set while the witches continue to trade magical blows with each other. #WomenWhoDJ #AmWriting

Today’s mood is brought to you in the form of a melodic techno and progressive house mix by SKIY. SKIY is inspired by her jazz singer mother and was trained as a pianist from a young age. A young up and comer, she has already made waves in the dance music scene with her ‘Who Got The Keys’ release on Heldeep label. Her sonic tastes are shaped by a solid belief that “musical apprehension can take place on many different levels”. #WomenWhoDJ #SKIY

Eris Drew is the High Priestess of the Motherbeat. Transgender DJ, producer, & advocate, she began DJ-ing in ‘94 and produce dance music as a form of healing and self expression. Bless this YouTuber for recording Nora’s full set from #ProperNYE. I had SUCH a beautiful time dancing to this live and often go back to that feeling when I think back on the experience. May her energy lift you high into the sky as it did for me. ☺️

Kitty Amor’s vibe is all AMOR. Outside of gifting us with some amazing, moving and thoughtful sounds over the last few years, she was also the first UK #AfroHouse DJ to play the famous Printworks venue - one of the UK’s largest and most popular indoor club venues. This mix was featured on #ResidentAdvisor’s Mix of the Day in 2020. Sit back and enjoy:
