There I was one day as a high school sophomore toward the end of the 1980 school year cruising around in a ‘65 Opel Kadet with John “Reeker” Reeves (rhythm guitarist for the aforementioned high school band “White Rock”) and he throws “Women And Children First” in the cassette deck.
