Ich habe meine Lektion endgültig gelernt.
Team Ninja Spiele werden nicht mehr angefasst. Ich habe Nioh 1 und 2 probiert, bin in Rise of the Ronin nicht reingekommen und jetzt habe ich auch Wo Long beiseite gelegt, weil das Combat System einfach zu sehr mit zu einfachen oder zu nervigen Bossen clasht.
Dieses unnötige Loot-System ist auch in allen Spielen einfach komplett uninteressant für mich.
Auch wenn die Spiele cool aussehen, sie sind absolut nicht für mich.

For some reason, my #Xbox #YearInReview included Borderlands 3, which I played on Steam on my computer, not the Xbox? Not sure why that's in there. #WoLongFallenDynasty and #ForzaMotorsport were easily to two biggest time eaters on the console, with #WoLong easily being my favourite, just a good experience.

Hallo! I’m trying to get a bit more social interaction in my life, so here I am writing an #introduction post on #Mastodon. :moogle_peek:
I’m Jaden (though I go by different names in different circles :bulbasaur_confused:). I have a silly potato (@nuz) and a silly sausage (#sillyDoggy). I’m fairly socially awkward, a bit #autistic and very #ADHD. :ms_neurodiversity: Sometimes I say very little and sometimes I say a whole heck of a lot, depending on the topic. I’ll probably be posting random facts or videos that I find particularly cool/amusing~ :cat_wow:
I love science (and have a PhD in #physics, but was it really worth it? :frog_think:) and maker videos that try to bring comic books and fiction to life (shoutout to #Hacksmith and #JLazerVideos, amazing folks)! I also really love technology (in particular, I really like #LTT / #LinusTechTips, although I know he can be a bit problematic :shiba_hide:).

Oh yeah, I finished #WoLongFallenDynasty on Friday last week (just got lost cause I had to go away for the weekend).
It is actually an amazing game, really has been one of the few games recently to get me really energised, really excited to play it again. It's well worth having a playthrough.
I know it's disappointed some #Nioh fans, but think of it as an amazing onboarding game, as well as a lovely twist on the old formula. It doesn't need to be Nioh 3, it's good as its own thing.

Okay, so the last mission of Part 6 of #WoLong goes super anime when you beat the second of two bosses back to back (there is a checkpoint between them). Kind of cool.
Was also interesting to see the #Xbox (what I'm playing on, leave me be) achievement stats for the bosses. The final fight with Lu Bu had a clear rate of 7.28%, the following boss 6.71%, and then the two bosses of this episode 6.17 and 6.10% People are committed to finishing ifthey get this far, it seems.

So, interesting thing, if you die as part of a trade with a flag defending boss in #WoLong, it still counts. The flag was unlocked and I immediately got credit for 'avenging' myself on respawn at the checkpoint.
I felt like a right idiot for dying there being too aggressive, but I suppose it paid off? He didn't respawn and I did, so a win for me I guess.

Ok, so I initially got very concerned that #WoLong had an Orstein and Smough boss fight like in #DarkSouls, but then they melted. Bit nasty initially, but parry through the big hammer guys attacks, get one critical deflect and hit on him, and he goes below half health and can easily be finished off, making it just a very easy fight.
I don't know if my damage is just too high, I've been doing all the side missions, and nearly maxed gear, but that was too easy.

One of our buddies turned bad after we find out we were fighting/killing our secret buddy.
We are now down two buddies.
This is why we have the buddy system, guys, people need to pair up or this stuff will keep happening.

Another boss down in #WoLong, this time a really cool just normal duel with another warrior. Not a huge number of those boss fights, compared to big demons, but it's good to have in the mix. Plus all the crazy lightning. Good fun.

Will say, I do like the boss designs in #WoLong, they are varied enough to be interesting. This sort of phoenix-angel-grim reaper one is a really cool looking boss (and was fun to fight, even if I beat him first try), and they do manage to contrast them enough from one another that you can largely remember them (I thin Taotie is the weakest for that, being an amalgamation of body parts, but otherwise they are all pretty different).
So far, superb game.

Episode Four complete, and it's starting to ramp up quite nicely. Bunch of optional battlefield unlocked with its completion, which were quite fun to run through, including duels with two of your allies which are nice wee boss fights. NPC Invaders seem to be getting stronger (btw, you can toggle on and off player invasions in your settings really easily, if you don't know). It's going well, I'm liking it.

Really is a good wee boss.
Was doing really well until those two failed Rock Spikes setting me up to nearly being killed. But it worked. Rock Spike is just way too good for melting posture bars. Though I should probably have used the dual halberds instead of the slashing spear to have been quicker (plus more earth magic damage due to embedding).
