I'm engaged in a conversation about Huawei and China's trade surplus over in YouTube comments.
I just dropped this, It's sure to be popular.
"We can disagree on that. My view is that any country running a trade surplus of greater than 1% of GDP is acting in bad faith and should be taxes on the surplus above 1%. Keynes proposed a tax of high surplus countries, to fund the future UN's development programs, as part of Bretton Woods in 1944. The US rejected it."
