The mud is drying, the sun is burning hot between patches of clouds.
Rubber boots are still the footwear of choice.
#Santiano really try hard to start the party at the infield, #Megadeath do perform great and #Donots are shaking the Louder Stage like an earthquake. #IronMaiden dissappoint with mediocrity & missing out 2 of their greatest hits.

Opening ceremony was very short, but the Vikings made it worthwhile.

Final day at #woa2023: various bands I was too exhausted to remember. Instead of rain and mud, we've had 2nd-degree-burn sunshine and mud, which is somehow worse.
It was nice to be here again - cathartic and sweet and loud. Tomorrow begins my slooow journey back to Scotland, via many different stops 😌

Werft Schlafsack, Isomatte etc. nicht weg, wenn ihr das nach Wacken nicht mehr braucht. Für manche ist der Schlafsack mit ewigen Schlammflecken besser als nix.
