College / Community radio stations are independent and not run by corporate media. #StephenKing not only volunteered for one, he started his own independent stations (some of which he's let go of). In #TheStand, #RayFlowers defies government decrees to shut down, and continues to broadcast information that the GOVERNMENT doesn't want out there. #WMPGFM does the SAME THING! Get it?!!

I love my peeps at #WMPG! Despite threats of funding cuts to #CPB (which helps fund WMPG as well as Public Radio and Television), they are still celebrating #PRIDEMonth! YES!
