@Athena looking back at about 3, almost 4 decades of messing with computers, I feel the average person never did, still doesn't, and likely will never really NEED a desktop.
And, frankly, to give most idiots access to the internet, with a mobile device, was a mistake.
All they did was deliver it unto the hands of fashy friendly corporations, and allow the ethnonazi to take it over.
