Für k2 stand heute die zweite Runde der wjC Oberliga-Quali zuhause an. Sie haben beide Spiele souverän gewonnen ( 35:14 und 31:12) und sind damit Qualifiziert. Glückwunsch. Ich hab mit k1 die 3x 40min Vater-Sohn-Zeit bei 35 Grad in der Halle am Kampfgericht „genossen“.

The WJC just hits different. All the noise around the NHL and the Olympics loses its luster for me once this tournament starts. There’s nothing that quite measures up to the World Juniors as far as I am concerned.

*I would love if they could add 2 more teams to the top group (6+6) just to give the nations just below the top-7 a little more of a toehold and time to build their programs.

Sweden absolutely dismantled Germany 8-1. Now on to Finland versus Slovakia. Slovakia is a really up and coming team, so I hope they bring their A game today and give Finland a fight.
