Ludwig #Wittgenstein received the Austro-Hungarian Order of the Red Cross in Jan. 1915.
He had donated 150.000 Crowns. That was 50.000 more than even Baron #Rothschild had contributed.

Strangely, Ludwig Wittgenstein was named last in the decree, after the other six donators. Ludwig was 25 at the time.
