The Okefenokee Swamp & surrounding areas use to be a hotbed of turpentine production. Brother Pine-Tree gives us turpentine. My paternal Granny would mix melted lard & turpentine, slather it over chests, cover this flannel cloth when family had a bad cough/cold! #SwampSunday #FolkWitch #WitchAlt
