Unlike many men of my age, I have never treasured the original Pink Floyd song as an especially meaningful all time favourite; I quite like it, but it's never occurred to me to think of 'Wish You Were Here" as outstanding in any way.

The Fifty Fifty cover, on the other hand, has impressed me. I much prefer the instrumentation here, but above all the girls' timbres, ad libs, and harmonies make this version strike sympathetic chords within me in a way that the original has never done.

I hope Fifty Fifty continue with songs like this, "Gravity", or "When You Say My Name" -- that is, material which allows them to show off their vocal talents to their best advantage.
