Having something stop working after a medical-related body update like wisdom teeth and getting double vision and having to fix it yourself is the real #ArchLinux user experience. I had to force my eyes back together after I had my wisdom teeth out, probably because of something they gave me (my mom originally had to teach me how to cross my eyes when I was 6).

I’m seeing the oral surgeon again today, just to make sure it’s healing properly. The incision sites are tender, but my other molars are killing me. It feels like I have cavities in them. Anyone who’s had #WisdomTeeth surgically extracted: how long did it take for your pain to go away?

I missed the start of the third season of Bad Batch and now I can binge the first episodes while I'm waiting for the anaesthetics on my inflamed wisdom tooth to wear off, so I can eat something.
Why can't wisdom teeth just be normal?
I took two days off from work for a painting class and getting a new desk from Ikea, but instead I have to plan trips to the dentist to get that damn tooth and its healing-process looked at.

@EvilCartyen About a million years ago, my #dentist had the inspired idea to have all my four #WisdomTeeth removed before I turned 18, so I wouldn't have to pay for it myself. I believe he uttered the words "oops" during the process. Something about breaking through the ceiling of the mouth while pulling out one of the top teeth.
That was a pretty fucked up couple of weeks.

How's everyone's day going. I hope better than mine. I'm in extreme #pain here. This is the third day after #OralSurgery to have all 4 of my #WisdomTeeth extracted. They said the second and third days would be the worst, and they were definitely right. If you're hoping for another #Blog post from me, I'll try to do one once the pain calms down.

Including when some random worker went into my operating room and started petting my head like a cat while talking to my surgeon and the assistant(?) for some reason. This was before my IV was in and it did distract me partially from the needle.

What's nice is I didn't say anything embarrassing as I woke up. My first concern was whether the gauze was falling out (it wasn't).

Soon I'm going to have a thing or four removed. I'm not looking forward to my temporary diet. I don't like the idea of a part of me (my #WisdomTeeth) being removed, but at least I don't need their help to provide wisdom anymore. They were a part of me when I needed them, but I can't keep them. "What's important isn't whether you can see the future or not. It's the will to make a choice, and the strength to seize your destiny! Our time has come. Our destiny is our own!"
