Nous avons le plaisir de vous annoncer que le réseau de répétitrice Fusion est maintenant de retour sur le réseau Fusion Canada FR via Wires-X.
Un long travail de recherche à été requis pour remettre le node Wires-X en fonction puisque celui-ci présentait un problème de nature inconnue qui faisait en sorte que l’audio était uni-directionnel.
N’oubliez pas d’utiliser le DG-ID 99 sur nos répétitrice pour ouvrir le lien Wires-X.

Yes, just received my new Openspot4 Pro ham radio hotspot today! And it has PTT support now, which is the most important new feature for me, compared to the Openspot3 (a feature which I suggested to the Openspot guys last year). It allows to send and receive audio directly via my Smartphone over Wifi (no radio necessary). I can just throw the little device into my backpack and be QRV with my phone at all times. Super cool! 🥳

Update on the GB3OA rebuild. The Yaesu DR-2XE is insanely easy to set up. The Wires-X PC and HR-200 took a little longer, but all straight forward. Next, the hotspots for the bridge between SW Lancs YSF reflector and SW Lancs Wires-X room. While I've got all that working, plus the DMR gateway into it as well, I'm beginning to wonder whether the cross-modes are really worth it. May just be easier to stick with stock Yaesu (C4FM and analogue). #WiresX #Yaesu #C4FM #hamradio #amateurradio

Well that's the YSF reflector bridged (RF) to WIRES-X (but still under test). Just need the Yaesu DR-2XE now, oh wait, I've just ordered one 😀 Always great fun playing with and learning new technologies. The new repeater is slowly coming together.... #WiresX #C4FM #amateurradio #hamradio
