Heads up for anybody pondering getting a new phone. I got the Pixel 11 yesterday to replace my Pixel 6. I've been using the desktop charging stand by my bed ever since I got the pixel 6. Seriously, wireless charging is wonderful.

The desktop stand does not work with the Pixel 11. The internal circuitry that supports wireless charging got moved enough that the stand can't actually charge the Pixel 11.

If you're planning on buying it, make sure to budget for your new charger as well.

En gros de ce que j'ai lu jusqu’à présent concernant la recharge sans fil:

👎 - Vieillissement prématuré de la batterie (chaleur + nombre de cycles)
👎 - Consommation d'énergie plus importante qu'en filaire (pertes d'énergie + consommation a vide)
👎 - Recharge généralement plus lente qu'en filaire

👍+ Pratique a utiliser
👍+ En cas de problème avec son port USB (solution temporaire)

Pour le moment les pertes conséquentes d'énergie me refroidissent un peu d'en acheter.

I was in #Cobram recently, and noticed they have these epic park tables, Complete with solar panel roofs, what I believe is a battery box and/or inverter under the table, multiple USB charging sockets, and a pair of wireless chargers built I to the table. This is great. Would love to see more of these in other places. I just hope people don't smash them though as my phone battery is getting quite sad, and I need to charge often when I'm out and about.
