  1. Apparently Ars Technica released an article with AI slop that made people upset so i want to remind people that Ars Technica, along with GQ, Vanity Fair and Wired, are owned by Condé Nast- which recently dissolved their team doing incredible political coverage in Teen Vogue.

I'm not trying to read their print anymore because i think this should be expected from ownership that hates good reporting

  4. @J12t good to see a breakdown of what we know, what we can conclude. Most of what I’m seeing is posts from people who have already made up their mind one way or the other. I also found this pretty good analysis from #WiredMagazine too: wired.com/story/al-ahli-baptis #hospital #gaza #hamas #israel

  5. This edition of Wired is all about AI. It's really good. Go grab a copy.

  6. Such an important piece by @chrischirp in #wiredmagazine. Why the NHS won’t save the NHS. Health isn’t healthcare it’s housing, improved food, active daily lives. Thank you for separating drinking water from sewage! wired.co.uk/article/christina- #publichealth #activetravel #nutrition

  7. Finally got around to reading Jason Kehe’s piece on Brandon Sanderson. It’s hard to even be upset at Kehe, because it reads more like a nervous breakdown than a hit piece. Sanderson and fantasy fans were just collateral damage. I do wonder what #Wired’s editorial was doing when that crossed their desk. “Should we cut the part where he harasses convention goers or takes aim at a kid’s condiment choices? No? Ok. Brewski? #WiredMagazine #BrandonSanderson #Fantasy

  8. The Man Behind #Mastodon Built It for This Moment. People fleeing Twitter have turned to Eugen Rochko’s alternative. He says social networks can support healthy debate—without any one person in control.
