Hmm. Winton Land CEO Chris Meehan has resigned amidst an ongoing 'employment process' being led by the board.
However it's not all bad news for Meehan. He stills gets to make decisions and remains a director, while National's hatchet man Steven Joyce takes over the chair. Honestly, it's like musical chairs for disgraced Nats.

This is Adele Pentland. She is a paleontologist in training out at #Winton #Queensland #australia.
She helped discover Ferrodraco, a anhanguerid pterosaur from the Late Cretaceous.
Recently on my Facebook page, Lego Fossil Museum, I did a post about my #Lego version of the build.
One of her friends seen the post and tagged her in it so she shared her version with me.
I love both the designs :D

#OTD - looking back to 21 January 1913. Today, in history, the attached advertisement of JN Brown, Family Butcher, was put in the local paper.
John N Brown had a shop here that he ran as a butchery from 1910, it remained in the family with brothers Douglas and Allan taking over as Brown Bros' #Butchery. Eventually Douglas’ son Allan took over for himself after WW2, he sold the business in 1959.
Its now owned by #Ōtautau Joinery and today operates as an outlet for Carleton's #Winton Pharmacy.
