Exactly one week from now, I'll be teaching my very first class of #WinterSemester23.
I'm NOT feeling happy about this. (I'm all out of hopes for anything involving the university that employs me these days, wonderful as most of my students genuinely are.) But a lot of things have recently fallen into place that are going to make next semester a whole lot easier for me than fall was, and that's such a relief.
So: going with "not dreading it", which is better than feared, & good enough for now.
