Wat is die #wintercity toch een domme kinderachtige en klantonvriendelijke actie van @ns_online Als dit het niveau is waarop NS de reizigers serieus neemt, dan snap ik wel dat reizigers kiezen voor ander vervoer zodra dat voorhanden is. Laat ik NS een marketingtip geven: als je wilt dat de reiziger een goed gevoel over je krijgt, moet je op z'n minst zorgen dat ie het *gevoel* krijgt iets gewonnen te hebben… al is het maar #klimaatwinst

It snowed in Edmonton for THE ENTIRE DAY and I think I shovelled my paths, sidewalks, and garage entry at least 4 times, possibly 5, and I am kind of exhausted. However, in between shovelling I also took the time to put a little solar powered LED light string on the tiny juniper tree in my yard, and it is adorable. 🥰 #YEGwx #SnowDay #WinterCity

After biking to work and back today I spent time submitting maintenance reports on all the intersections I could remember where the curb cut had been blocked by the plowed snow. It's not like this is a new thing, how does this happen every major snowfall? I at least have the mobility to get me and my bike over it. What about people with mobility challenges? I find it absolutely hilarious, and also charming, that there is a beach volleyball court in the middle of Garneau, Edmonton. This location is absolutely nowhere near any beach whatsoever and probably hundreds of miles from the nearest sandy beach.
