😭 The subs for, "Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!" are broken! I really was hyped for this episode because it's going so much faster than the live action adaptation.
Enough people are reporting the issue and it will be addressed; I can use this time constructively to wash my dishes and then play a video game instead. As there is no sense in letting this minor mishap ruin my whole day. 🤭 😂

OMG Today is an anime feast! So many episodes to watch before I get around to checking out a major update for Cult of The Lamb.
I'm so happy for this bounty of anime. I finished Golden Kamuy, just waiting on the final arc for that amazing series.

The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash Episode 1 Impressions
Feels like some key parts of Ivy's life in the village is left out and we're just kind of told to accept that she's starless and they want her dead. Hopefully future episodes have flashbacks.
The show looks beautiful, but spent much of the episode with Ivy talking to herself with a "past self" that feels like its not necessary. Could have been without the isekai tossed in half-assed. Slime is cute tho!
I'll probably give this one more episode, but may just read the light novels instead

Solo Leveling is pretty intense...What I predicted would happen did happen, however, at least the way this prediction played out was pretty interesting. I might watch more if the third episode wows me.

I'm probably not going to watch a lot of what I intended from Winter 2024. I paused quite a few Fall 2023 anime and I still have a lot of episodes to watch.
I think what I'm going to do is start Dungeon Meshi and Sengoku Youko from winter (the latter of the two, I already read the manga many years ago, so I know the story, at the very least, will be great. Adaptation-wise, it remains to be seen when I watch it). But I'm not going to start anything else from winter until I finish my fall shows. These two are the shows I'm most interested in from this season, so I'm 100% watching them.
Winter will end up as the season I watched the least in since I started following seasonals, most likely, but it is what it is. Hopefully I can finish fall as well as these 2 anime, and then get back in full force for spring! :umbreonhype:

Villainess Level 99: I May Be the Hidden Boss but I'm Not the Demon Lord Episode 1 Impressions
Purely setup from start to finish. First half was just the intro to the game the MC played before being isekai'd. Then it was the MC being reborn, power leveling and starting school.
Not much to say this first episode. Going to have to watch one more to even make a decision. This is one that could have benefited from a double length premiere episode.

Kind of cute beginning. The snot thing was weird and gross. And yet they showed it again. Other than that it could be a fun rom-com as long as further ecchi stuff isn't snot based. Wish the dude was a bit less of a fool lol.
Gonna give this a 2nd episode to determine if I keep up with this one each week or not.

The Foolish Angel Dances With The Devil Episode 1 Impressions
Had some funny moments, seems decently interesting. Wonder how this rom com between an angel and demon will play out. Character designs and visuals are solid.
Will give it another episode to see if I'll watch weekly or binge later.

The opening theme song is sooooo good. Sadly the show is rather boring. The humor just isn't hitting the notes for a good laugh. It's trying so hard with some of the reactions characters have, but I'm just left staring blankly.

The Strongest Tank's Labyrinth Raids Episode 1 Impressions
This was nothing special, but I didn't hate it. Rud is a tank who didn't fully know all of his skills and got kicked out of the hero's party for it.
He heads back home to his ill sister and rescues a young girl and learns about his skills. Nothing major happens yet. Not sure what future episodes will entail. So far probably not going to watch weekly, but will check out episode 2 and decide then.

What the hell is this and why is it so ridiculous. I expected a generic isekai, and I've been laughing my ass off.

Sasaki and Peeps Episode 1 Impressions
Glad they put all the setup of the characters and story in to a long first episode. It was interesting to see this one adapted, as I've been reading the light novels.
Seems to have good production value, which is nice. Hoping this one holds up well tonthe novels. I look forward to more of this series.

Dungeon Meshi / Delicious in Dungeon episode 1.
The introduction was surprisingly serious in tone, but quickly shifted into something more light-hearted and fun.
The quality of the animation, the designs and everything are just as good as I was expecting. After certain adaptations in the past, it's hard to expect much, but the previews looked solid and the product seems just as good.
One part D&D, one part Monster Hunter and several parts cooking show. Don't watch on an empty stomach :akko_mmh:
